Speaker : Mr. Jean-Claude Bernard, Chief of Economic Service and Director of AFII (Frecnh Agency for International Investments ) since 2006.  His career started as civil servant in 1979 as a schools and university administration attaché.  After further studies at l'ENA (l’Ecole nationale d’administration), he joined Ministry of Economics, Ministry of Industry, Ministry of Employment.  Returning from private practice in 1988, he became the Latin America Deputy bureau chief of the Foreign Economic Relations Directorate.  He was Deputy Chief of the Economic Bureau in Jakarta before becoming Chief of Economic Bureau in Prague, followed by Kuala Lumpur, Lisbon and Hong Kong.
