The "Alumni of French Academic Institutions Directory" provides a listing of permanent residents in Hong Kong and Macau who studied in France. Thanks to this excellent tool, individuals or companies can reach out appropriate persons for information or tangible help in professional or business development as well as personal pursuits. The Directory also provides a solid base for the French Alumni Association.

With the support of the Consulate General of France, the Association made a provisional registration at the end of 2003 and held its first General Meeting in November 2004. The Executive Committee was elected. We have great pleasure that Mr. Consul General accepted our invitation to be the Honorary President of the Association. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the persons, Sub-Committees and companies who helped to give life to the Association.

The Committee members, coming from different universities local and abroad with a good variety of training in France, all treasure our stay in France. We hope to make the Association a place for meeting old pals and new friends, for maintaining and improving our knowledge and understanding of the French language and culture, for personal and professional development.

The Association aims at linking up people and resources for creating value for its members. I would like to solicit your support in building the Association by joining as a member, contributing ideas, helping us with your expertise and network.
